i-CAT study group Subsection
Hi Everyone!
I took Chester's suggestion and created this blog for our i-CAT study group.
It would appear that January 22 (Sunday) would probably be the best day to have our next meeting since Arun will already be in Santa Barbara. Chester, please ask Dr. Gunson if he is available on that day to give us a presentation and if he would give our group a tour of their facility using i-CAT/3DMD/Dolphin.
How many of you would be able to attend on January 22?

I will be able to attend the January meeting. This is a great way to deal with our desire to communicate with all users, now that I figured out how to use it!
Okay, we need to set the date so let's go for Sunday, January 22, 2006 for the next i-CAT users group meeting.
Kathleen, will you research a meeting room for our group? Maybe we can use the same hotel that Dr. Arnett/Dr. Gunson will be using on Jan 19-21?

Matt Montgomery suggested we scrap his May 2006 AADMRT Spring seminar and replace it with the Santa Barbara i-CAT Users meeting. That would not be a good idea because the purpose of the i-CAT Users Group is to focus solely on i-CAT related topics. Besides,it would not be sufficient notice for the AADMRT membership.
Chester is asking Dr. Gunson for a favor to speak informally to a small group of i-CAT users & see if our small group can tour Dr. Arnett's facility. Dr. Gunson might not be so willing if it turns out to be a full fledge seminar.
Matt Montgomery has already secured the Nobel Biocare facility for the AADMRT Spring meeting in May 2006 and I'm sure we all want a tour there.
The i-CAT Santa Barbara meeting has been cancelled. It was suggested we meet at the Dolphin Meeting in Scottsdale. The only way this would work is to have the i-CAT meeting on Sunday after the Dolphin meeting. Unfortunately that day will not work for many users. Keep checking the i-CAT blog for any new meeting developments.
