TMJ profile

I tried to create an iCAT vision CD which includes the patients closed/open/orthodic volumes. I saw that the three volumes were on the CD but only the open and orthodic were in the patient file when the CD opened up in iCAT vision. Any thoughts.

My experience is that i-Cat Vision names the files using the DICOM data which is usually "last name, first name, date" then creates a folder formatted "first name, last name". I tried to do what you did but got 3 folders named exactly the same. You may want to try to name them them with different first names. That might work. BUT, you need to change the name in the Xoran data base before you save for i-Cat Vision.

You might want to check your transferlog in the Vision root folder and make sure the scan in question did not have a message [ERROR_NOT_i-CAT]

You will want to watch if you renamed your i-CAT scans. You can not use the following characters:

If you use these characters in your i-CAT scan titles, then when Vision tries to create a file name it will get a Windows error message and the patient will not be added into the Root folder.

Devery, I don't think you did this if you can see 3 folders on the CD. Let me know if you want me to connect and check it out.
