iCAT Upgrade

I am upgrading from 12bit to 14bit this week. So far it is not going well because they did not send all of the proper parts. If you have not had your power supply + tubehead replaced, then they will need to do it now. Somehow, this was overlooked...oh, yea, then they overlooked sending it overnight air so we are down one more day. I will keep everyone posted...I'm afraid ISI isn't even close to the company it once was :-(

I still remember that deep sadness I felt when they announced that they had sold the company. They were no longer one of us. They had become "big" and with that comes a whole different level of challenges.

I'm waiting for you to get all the bugs out of the 14 bit upgrade before I do mine;-) I'm sorry you are the one to have to "take one for the team". I hope you are somehow rewarded for your boldness to be the leader on this. Keep us posted.

We certainly regret the issues that Marcelle has experienced on this upgrade and are working to rectify it and apologize to her for the inconvenience it has caused. There were oversights that are being addressed but I’m certain that this will be an isolated event. I am confident that all will be resolved. We truly are striving to continually improve our process. It's important to provide you with the service you all expect and value your input. I as well will keep you all posted on Marcelle's upgrade.

This is a real concern in may aspects to all of us who own the iCAT. I hope that in the future we will get the support we need to keep this machine running, for I would hate to see my investment become worthless in the market. There are lots of competitors out there selling 3D machines with a much more user friendly software and pretty good imaging and I want to be able to compete.
