ISI inducted into Major League

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that Imaging Sciences has been Acquired by Danaher Corporation, a Fortune 100 company based in Washington, DC; with operations all around the world. Danaher ventured into the dental market with the acquisition of Gendex a few years ago, which followed other significant acquisions including DEXIS, Pelton & Crane, KaVo Dental, Ormco, SybronEndo and Dentrix Imaging. 3-D imaging was the only missing link to round out their dental portfolio, until now.

Danaher’s overall business activities encompass three reporting segments and are comprised of six strategic platforms: Professional Instrumentation (Environmental, Medical Technology, Electronic Test), Industrial Technologies (Motion, Product ID) and Tools & Components (Mechanic’s Hand Tools). Most of you are perhaps familiar with Craftsman tools and Fluke Instruments, both manufactured by Danaher divisions. The company had over $10 Billion in sales in 2006.

The most exciting part of this transaction is that the dental portion of Xoran Technlogies has also been acquired to be a part of Imaging Sciences.

Imaging Sciences will operate as a stand alone division, and all current team memberes will retain their responsibilites. Very little should change to our look, feel and business philosophy. At the same time, we are now bigger, stronger and better positioned to advanced our goals and strategy in a challnging global environment.

As always, we sincerely appreciate the support and confidence we have enjoyed from our customers! We could not have done it without you!! We look forward to a continuing constructive and stimulating relationship with all of you!
