Downloading Guide scans

A couple of our burned scans for NobleBiocare are not opening when they get to Dr's software. We are burning both scans to one disk, and are using a pretty reliable disk. Should we burn them separately on separate discs for better results?

If this is a new doctor who is new to the Nobel software, it is possible that the problem is with the user. I had problems with my first Nobel case and after a number of phone calls and consultations, it turned out to be a problem with how he imported the data. Once we got that figured out we've had no problems. Burning the data onto 2 disks might help resolve a user problem. If it's NOT a user problem, I would NOT burn them onto 2 disks. I WOULD however check them on your computer and make sure they are readable. You can open them using 3DVR or you can download a free dicom viewing program called "VolView" from http://www.kitware.com/KitwareScripts/download.cgi/volview. You can also put the disk in another computer and open the folders with Windows Explorer and make sure the data is there. If it opens on your computers it should open on their computer.
